This is the pair of semi detached houses we visited in Bunessan on the Isle of Mull yesterday. We carried out an air tightness test on one of the properties and also an airborne sound test through the separating party wall. Long trip from Inverness, but Mull is an amazing place to visit
Today we carried out an air tightness test on a new house in Cromarty in Ross-shire. Called The Wee House, it was a small but very well designed house, making good use of the space available on this plot. It’s always a pleasure to visit Cromarty, beautiful village.
The second test for today was an air tightness test in Letters. Another great contemporary house built by Bernard Planterose and North Woods Construction. Today we carried out sound testing for two pairs of semi detached houses in Aultbea Achnasheen. These lovely new houses were built and recently completed by Kinnellan Builders. Just completed this test on a lovely new detached one and a half storey house at Tore.Good result. House fitted with dmev fans and result came in on target being less than 5 and greater than 3

Today we were able to carry out some sound testing in a former office building with a view to it be converted to form flatted dwellings. We tested through existing floor and wall constructions to check their performance.
