Air Tightness Testing

We carry out both commercial and residential air tightness testing across Scotland.

Air Tightness Testing is used to measure the total air lost through cracks and gaps within the fabric of a building. This is called accidental air leakage.

The test helps to establish the energy efficiency of a new building and is required for the building completion certificate. It can also help to identify poor build quality and highlight areas that can be improved.

Domestic Air Tightness Testing

L1+EA trained we test flats and houses on both large scale developments or single bespoke dwellings. We would advise and assist in resolving any issues whilst on site.

Commercial Air Tightness Testing
